Renowned photographer Pierre Crocquet's first book.

Hardcover with picture boards, published by Bell-Roberts (2002) On the photographer's returned from working in London, Us is the result of a series of road trips throughout South Africa. Crocquet went on to publish five books, exhibit worldwide and win numerous awards. He was tragically killed in a hit and run accident outside Groot Merico in 2013 at the age of 42. His contribution to documentary photography, research and narrative remains a valuable source of reference.

Sadly, not in the best condition. Some pages have age toning. Spine has been taped and there's water damage/marks to same, plus bottom corner of back pages. Signature and gift inscription on a front ed page. Some images have made transfer marks onto the opposite pages.

None of this however detracts from the superb full page artistic images.
