| DESCRIPTION | A lovely original oil painting depicting a BUSHVELD SCENE OF A PAN WITH TREES by well known South African artist PIERRE DE VILLIERS (1921 - 2007), painted on artist's board (treated cloth over hardboard). The painting is newly framed in an expensive solid wooden gilded frame and measures 60 x 75 cm in the frame and the artwork alone measures 45 x 60 cm. The artist has signed the artwork at bottom left and it is not dated, but I would say that it was painted in the 1980s. You can see the painting as it is sold in the image above. There are four more images and further particulars below. Please have a look at them and ask a question if there is anything you are unsure about. |
