Pioneer CT-4141 Stereo Cassette Tape Deck
A vintage front-loading cassette deck from Pioneer's early-'70s golden era, the CT-4141 was the first Pioneer deck of its kind to include built-in Dolby noise reduction pushing signal-to-noise up to 58dB and extending frequency response to 16kHz on chrome tape. Under the hood it runs a ferrite solid head with a mirrored finish for long service life and gentle tape handling, driven by an electronically controlled DC motor that keeps wow and flutter below 0.13%. It handles standard, low-noise high-output and chromium dioxide tapes in C-30 through C-120 lengths, with a skip button for fast-winding on the fly and DIN plus RCA connections for easy hookup to any vintage or modern system. Beyond straight playback and recording duties, decks like this have become a favourite for tape saturation, lo-fi tracking and warming up digital sources.
