An interesting work providing brief biographies with considerable mention of the sportsmen of the region, including Oswell, Baldwin, Selous and Cumming. CONDITION: Lightly foxed on a few pages. Some rubbing and marks on red cloth cover. Inscription in ink in front by pioneer Jack Carruthers, who in 1891 incorporated the area around the Zimbabwe Ruins, forming the farm "Oatlands". He pegged many minin claims.
