The commemorative token made from copper alloy is dedicated to NASAﾒs Martian rover named Curiosity. The robotic car-sized rover is a part of Mars Science Laboratory mission providing by NASA. Curiosity is a success of the research mission; it made several important discoveries and became the most famous rover.The round token is minted using the same test alloy which was created during the engineering of Curiosity. The appropriating inscription is placed along the rim of one side of the token. The central image is the NASA logo and legends indicating the name of Mars Exploration program and the status of the token as the official commemorative item.The reverse side features the image of Curiosity itself. The relief is surrounded by the name of the rover and the date of its landing on the Red planet. The mintage launched in 2013.
