Foam plant collars for the 5 cm propagation (net) pots

Replaces the need for fill media to hold the plant in the pot

We have been experimenting with germinating seeds using the collar only instead of using a germination substrate

In the photo below is the successful germination of lettuce seed on a koi pond.

By placing the collar directly onto the water (here using the GLAIRS) with no pot the seeds are germinating (YIPPEE)

Once the seedlings are big enough they are placed into the pots and planted into the aquaponic or hydroponic system
