Reverse: Against a background of two concentric bands, the coat of arms of the Union of South Africa with motto: UNITAE EX VIRES. Signed: P.M at the bottom of the outer band. Outside and around on the left: UNIE VAN SUID-AFRIKA and on the right between stops: UNION OF SOUTH AFRICA
