Plaubel Makina IIIR 120 Rangefinder Camera with Anticomar 100mm F2.9 Lens, 6x6 and 6x9 Film Backs
**Excellent Condition**
The camera is fully functional with some light signs of wear on the body and leatherette
The bellows are in great condition with no holes or light leaks
The lens shutter is running accurately through all it's speeds and the aperture is oil free, the focus systems work flawlessly and the viewfinder nice and bright
The kit comes with the fast Anticomar 100mm F2.9 lens and a set of original Plaubel filters
Included in the kit is a 6x6 and 6x9 film back, these do show some additional wear on the paint and leatherette
but light seals have been redone and the camera is ready for use
Also included are a set of cut film holders and a rear viefinder screen
These are genuinely rare cameras as they were the last in the line before the Makina 6x7 generation.
Additional Info regarding the IIIR
1953 saw the introduction of the last German-made version of the Makina, known as the Makina IIIR.
The Makina IIIR has a synchro contact on the bottom right corner of the front plate that was also present on late units of the Makina III
(maybe production of Makina III and Makina IIIR co-existed) and, most notably, a shutter with speeds up to 1/400 second.
