The console has light scuff marks and scratches that is common considering its age.

The hardware on the inside of the console is in excellent condition with no signs of corrosion or wear.

The console has excellent PS1 backwards compatibility and is a suitable replacement for a broken PS1 console.

The included AV Component cable (which is different from the standard AV Composite cable), offers superior visual quality compared to the standard AV Composite cable. Please ensure that your TV, display or scaler has component inputs (also referred to as YPbPr, with red, green, and blue video input ports). This console can still be used with standard PS2 AV Composite input (where the display uses a single yellow input for video), but a standard PS2 composite cable has to be purchased separately and is not included in this bundle.

THIS PS2 STILL HAS ITS ORIGINAL SONY LASER AND IS IN EXCELLENT HEALTH. 

THE LASER HAS BEEN TESTED IN FULL AND CONFIRMED TO PLAY BOTH CD-BASED GAMES (PS1, PS2 CD GAMES) AND DVD-BASED GAMES WITHOUT ANY ISSUES OR STUTTERING DURING FMV'S. 

THIS MODEL (SCPC-70004) WAS THE LAST PS2 SLIM REVISION THAT STILL FEATURED THE FULL PS1 CHIPSET, OFFERING THE BEST PS1 BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY OF ALL PS2 SLIM MODELS.
