This console served me well for 9 years before it switched off during play and wouldn't switch back on. It is the Original 60GB version first released in South Africa, however, I replaced the 60GB HDD with a failing 500GB HDD as the idea was to take it to https://www.partserve.co.za/index.php/warranty/playstation and have it traded along with R1800 fee for a refurbished Slim/Super Slim as this model is no longer in circulation.

I changed my mind and thought that perhaps there's someone out there that would like to do the same. The PartServe refurbished consoles carry a 6 month warranty.
