INSTALLATION NOTES:
The JT13-009 installs using the standard PS5 joystick soldering procedure, but differs from conventional joysticks in its mechanical design - The most important part of the install is to note you cannot pull the Thumbstick off like an OEM DualSense stick - It is attached permanently to the Joystick Shaft
- Integrated thumbstick: The supplied thumbstick is designed to remain permanently installed and cannot be removed like a standard PS5 thumbstick cap.The JT13-009 comes with its own integrated metal-collar thumbstick assembly- What this means is the Thumbstick CANNOT BE REMOVED once clicked on , so once installed , the JT13-009's cap is effectively part of the adjustable mechanism, while the tension adjustment remains possible.
- Adjustable tension: Stick resistance can be adjusted after installation by rotating the adjustment mechanism. Tension is continuously adjustable from approximately 30gf to 80gf, allowing the stick feel to be customized from very light to firm.
- Important: Set the desired tension before final calibration and testing.
There is a small dot on the top of the Thumbstick - Make sure the orientation of the dot is the same on both Joysticks or it may look a bit untidy
