Pleiospilos compactus ssp. canus Seeds RARE SUCCULENT FROM SOUTH AFRICA

The klein lewerplant (Pleiospilos compactus ssp. canus) forms rounded clusters of branches, each branch having four leaves in opposite pairs.  The leaves are purplish at the edges and are variable in size and shape.  The upper surfaces are flat, the lower surfaces rounded and the tips keeled.  Flowers are yellow or rarely white.  Plants  occur in the Tanqua Karoo and also in the southern Great Karoo and on the northern margin of the Little Karoo, on shale gravel flats. The leaves have a fleshy feel to the touch.
