(NO MORE THAN 5 BOOKS PER ORDER OR PARCEL ALLOWED) - This scarce 1983 book used to belong to a library - Same edition Google image used - Book and unclipped  wrapper still fairly good - 276 pg.    >>>   Frederik George Pohl, Jr. was an American science fiction writer, editor and fan, with a career spanning over seventy years. From about 1959 until 1969, Pohl edited Galaxy magazine and its sister magazine IF winning the Hugo for IF three years in a row. His writing also won him three Hugos and multiple Nebula Awards. He became a Nebula Grand Master in 1993.     >>>     Old school pulp science fiction, a collection of short stories that has been woven into an overall story arc (after the fact, apparently). These stories deal with a post-scarcity robot-based society and a world that is increasingly polluted. They are lighthearted and short but do deal with the human (and robot!) feelings that a society like that could trigger. Well done, and felt surprisingly relevant at times even 40+ years later.
