"Pokémon Diamond" is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It was released for the Nintendo DS in 2006 in Japan and in 2007 internationally. The game is part of the fourth generation of Pokémon games and is set in the Sinnoh region.

In "Pokémon Diamond," players take on the role of a Pokémon Trainer with the goal of becoming the Pokémon Champion by defeating the Elite Four and the Champion of the Pokémon League. The game introduces 107 new Pokémon species, bringing the total to 493 Pokémon available in the National Pokédex.

One of the prominent features of "Pokémon Diamond" is the inclusion of online multiplayer functionality through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
