An adventure in the Sinnoh of days gone by
Catch, survey and research wild Pokmon to create and complete the Sinnoh region's first
Pokdex in Pokmon Legends: Arceus. This game honours past Pokmon games' core gameplay
while infusing new game mechanics and role-play elements.
You'll be brought to the Sinnoh region. But this story unfolds in a long-gone era, before ideas of
being a Pokmon Trainer or having a Pokmon League even existed. All around, you'll find
Pokmon living wild, in harsh environments that make this Sinnoh different from the familiar one
you may remember from Pokmon Diamond and Pokmon Pearl.
Catch Pokmon
To catch Pokmon in Pokmon Legends: Arceus, you can observe them to learn their behaviour,
then carefully sneak up, aim your Pok Ball and let fly! You can also have your ally Pokmon battle
wild ones that you hope to catch. Seamlessly enter battle and command your Pokmon by
choosing from moves it knows.
Meet your first Partner Pokmon
As you start off on your adventure to create the region's first Pokdex, you'll be able to choose
Rowlet, Cyndaquil, or Oshawott as a partner. These three Pokmon arrived with a Pokmon
Professor, who encountered them on research excursions to various regions.
