I recently bought a Polar H7 transmitter for road running because of the added smartphone functionality, which means I'm able to give my lightly used, previously-loved Polar WearLink+ coded transmitter and belt set (to fit sizes medium to extra-extra large) a new home.
The WearLink+ transmitter is compatible with all Polar heart rate monitors and is an improvement over the previous T31 transmitter because of the soft fabric belt and user-replaceable battery. The WearLink+ transmitter is also compatible with all major gym equipment with built-in heart rate monitors (specifically including the TechnoGym treadmills and stationary bikes used at Virgin Active). The WearLink+ is coded, which means there is no crosstalk or interference from other transmitters once it's automatically established a channel with your chosen receiver/heart rate monitor.
I've used the WearLink+ and belt less than a dozen times on the treadmill at the gym and it is in perfect condition, complete with all original packaging, user manuals, etc. (see photos).
Here is Polar's official description of the WearLink+ transmitter and belt set:
The Polar WearLink transmitter combines superior Polar technology with a new fabric design. The electrodes, which pick up the heart's signals, are engineered right into the fabric strap. The result is a superior fit for any individual body shape, providing revolutionary comfort and full freedom of movement. The transmitter's textile strap is removable and machine washable. Its clip-on mechanism ensures quick and easy wear, and the belt is easy to put on and take off.
Polar's coded technology ensures that the user picks up only their heart signal, and not the signal of another heart rate monitor nearby. With millions of HRMs in use today, there's a good chance that someone working out next to you may also have one on. Interference from any other HRM is now eliminated and an accurate signal is ensured.
This is a great opportunity to get your hands on a pristine Polar coded transmitter set in as-new condition for a fraction of the retail price of a new model. The transmitter set is offered with no reserve, bidding starts at just R1.00 and this item (whose retail value is around R650) will go to the highest bidder by Wednesday afternoon, so get your bid in quickly and make sure it's you. Happy bidding!
Important note: Regrettably, due to negative past experiences, bids from buyers with accounts registered in the last week without any successful sales concluded will be removed, as will all bids from buyers with negative ratings. This auction is for serious, established buyers only.
