Info: Exquisite floral pattern, fine craftmanship from the Pontesa pottery factory in Spain. Scalloped edges with a beautiful colourful pattern.
The Alfares Ponte Sampaio pottery factory, better known as Pontesa, was built in 1961 in the Vigo Estuary, Arcade, Spain. The factory was created during the time of Franco's dictatorship during a period of reforms and openeness to the world after the "autarchy" period of the 1950's was abandoned. The factory was closed in 2002.
Condition: Excellent condition, as new, there are no faults on the plate whatsoever.
