A Spanish china jar/sugar bowl with lid by Alfares de Pontesampaio (also known as Pontessa).  It is decorated with flowers and patterned motif, and has a handle on each side.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, though there is some natural crazing to the glaze of the lid and the base.  It stands 9.5cm high.
