Popular 20th Century SA Artist Henri J Du Randt Oil on Board 'Rare Seascape'

It is widely believed in art circles that du randt was born early 1900'' and passed either late 70's early 80's

The artists work is becoming increasingly sought after and valuable. Known for landscapes featuring mountains I cannot find any other example online which features a Seascape also with mountains in the background which makes this painting considerably more collectable as an investment

There are some condition issues where over time water has interacted with the varnish which has left some light 'watermarks' in places (Please view all photos provided) this however can be corrected with a water based solution but takes some time to completely remove

I unfortunately don't have the time, patience or skill to do this myself and will rather sell this painting at well below market value so that it's worth restoring by a professional if need be
