Porsche 804 F1 car - 1962 French GP winner - Gurney - Autoart Signature Ltd Edition 1/18

Exquisite Autoart model of a significant Formula 1 car - the 1962 Porsche 804 which won the French Grand Prix at Rouen- Les-Essarts driven by the legendary Dan Gurney.

This proved to be the only GP win for the car and Porsche pulled out of F1 at the end of 1962. The 804 however did win other non-championship events.

The 804 was air-cooled and remains to this day the only air-cooled F1 car to win a race and recorded Porsche's only F1 victory ever as a constructor.

This wonderful model has removable rear engine cover revealing in intricate detail the flat-8 air-cooled motor. It is also a special Autoart Signature issue and limited to 1000 pieces world-wide.
