How to use the DiamondĀ Selector?
(1)Clean your stone before testing - grease and dirt may dull the sensitivity of the Diamond Selector.
(2)Insert the 9V battery into the Diamond selector, turn on the Power Switch, make sureĀ the battery lamp
light is on, wait for 30 seconds till the ready lamp light is on.
(3) Adjust the level meter according the testing stone size and surrounding temperature follow the calibration chart.
Below 0.05ct, set the level meter lamp to light on up to 6.
From 0.06ct to 0.5ct, set the level meter lamp to light on up to 4.
Over 0.6ct, set the level meter lamp to light on up to 2.
(4)Gently contact the probe tip to the testing stone perpendicularly - if it is a real diamond, the LED lights
will turn red and the tester will beep 3 times.
If the stone is a diamond simulants, No beeping sound and no Red light on.
IfĀ you touch the metal, it will have continuous buzzing sound to warn.
