Secondhand in perfect condition. Been part of my portable equipment for +-2 years. I've upgraded to the latest model.

The refractometer measures the refractive index [RI] of any gemstone.

With the RI reading you will easily be able to determine gem-type, and distinguish between real and synthetic stones

A crucial piece of equipment for any gem collector, dealer etc.
