The makers of Half-Life return to their mind-bending puzzle series with a fully-fledged sequel that expands on the portal-based gameplay of the original.

First appearing as part of Valve’s Orange Box collection, Portal’s original puzzle gameplay and light-hearted plot quickly drew its own cult following, becoming one of the developer’s most beloved titles. Its sequel expands on the short campaign of the original collection with its own release, giving players a new story that introduces a fresh selection of twisted robotic characters alongside the dark and twisted humour of murderous computer companion, GLaDOS. New physics-based puzzle elements also add a new twist to each challenge as players use their portal guns to open holes in the fabric of space.

Alongside the single player campaign, an entirely separate co-operative mode is also on offer, putting players into the shoes of two robotic companions who must work together through a fresh selection of Portal’s test chambers.
