Introduced in 1966 and designed by Susan Williams Ellis. The 'Magic City' pattern depicts dome-topped buildings and towers with fireworks behind them in a celebratory fashion. Susan and her husband, Euan Cooper-Willis, launched Portmeirion Pottery in 1960 in Stoke-on-Trent. They named it Portmeirion after Susan's home village in Wales. 23 x 19 cm. Some crazing and brown wear marks.
