Cape of Good Hope: PS7 postmark: C, C, 14, 10[?]
According to Robert Goldblatt, Postmarks of the Cape of Good Hope: the postal history and markings of the Cape of Good Hope and Griqualand West 1792-1910. Cape Town: Reijger Publishers (Pty) Ltd., 1984, page 129:
"PS7 is, in the main, seen stamped on wrappers and circulars, but its use has also been noted on envelopes. The circle measures 27mm and the upper numerals represent the day [in this case 14] and the lower the month [ in this case 10]. Letters appear on either side of the postmark [in this case C and C], but whether these have any significance beyond identifying the handstamp has not been established."
