Hardback with DJ. C.Struik First edition 1974. 200 pages inc index & glossary.
Think Dj may have previously been protected by plastic as it is pretty good condition but there are slight evidence of tape marks on end papers. The odd bit of foxing and marks here and there but generally in not bad condition with no inscriptions. ( see pics below)Please feel free to ask questions.
Local postage will be R35 inc insurance.
" This is the first major venture into the studios and workshops of the leading potters in Southern Africa. The result is both revealing and definitive. Although the book will be of specific value to all those associated with pottery, whether amateur, professional or collector, it is not intended as a craft manual and makes stimulating reading for anyone interested in the visual arts. The work and backgrounds of fifteen practising artists and craftsmen, including three art and craft centres, are covered in this book, and their pots, murals and sculptural pieces are illustrated by more than three hundred photographs both in black and white and colour."
