Metal Shoe Stretches

On offer this lovely rare find of 2 metal shoe stretches, with extandable metal attacments. I'm not 100% sure what metal it is but it looks like pewter to me. Stamped on the front of each shoe is: "Poulsen Skone & Co, Boot Makers, 12 Duke Str, St. James's, SW1". On the inside of each shoe is stamped "Made in England, 9x10, M". Fully extended they measure 31cm long. Some surface scratches evident on the pewter but other than that no damage to report, still lovely and beautiful for an interesting display.
