If power is switched off, or if there is no power at the DC Input, this unit will sense there is no power coming in from your AC to DC Power Adapter and will automatically change over and keep your load powered from your battery. When DC input power comes on again, the load will automatically change over and be powered by your AC to DC Power Adapter. There will be a few Milliseconds loss of power while the relay switches over.
