TOPSwitch-GX uses same proven topology as TOPSwitch which costeffectively by integrating high voltage power MOSFET, PWM control, faultprotection and other control circuitry onto a single CMOS chip. Many newfunctions are integrated to reduce system cost, improve design flexibility, highperformance and energy efficient. The TOP246YN features soft start, frequencyjittering for lower EMI, wider DCMAX, hysteretic thermal shutdown and largercreepage packages.
