An inert rifle practice grenade made in 1972.
The Energa anti-tank rifle grenade is a rifle-launched anti-tank that is propelled by a blank cartridge. The name Energa comes from the firm in Liechtenstein that designed it. The effective range was 75m and max range was 375m. It was estimated to be capable of penetrartrating up to 275mm of armour.
Launched from the FN FAL assault or R1 rifles.The South African 75mm R1M1 version made by Denel was used during the South African involvement in Angola during the 1970s and 1980s
It is in a fair condition but is missing the stabilizing ring at the base.
