A gorgeous vintage Emess silver plated butter dish with original lid and removable glass inner. The dish has been decorated along the rim with repousse craft feathers edge pattern along the rim and leaf designs on the corners. The lid is fitted with an ornate handle finial and the glass dish is decorated underneath with starburst cut.
The butter dish is impressed underneath Emess
Plate loss has occurred in places revealing the copper underneath, aside from which it is in very good usable condition.
