The shape and decoration on this biscuit barrel suggests that it is Edwardian. It has Haddon impressed underneath. I believe this is a reference to Haddon Hall. It does not resemble Mintons Ware with the same pattern name. I can only assume Haddon must have been a pottery that took its name from Haddon Hall and closed in the early 20th cent. The handle and lid are silver plated and are separately marked EPNS. The colour of the EPNS and the quality of the hinges also suggests that this piece has age to it. It stands 23 cm tall to the top of the handle. There are no chips, cracks or restoration to this item. Please add R48 for postage. I do combined postage, so please enquire about postage before you transfer money for more than one purchase. I accept PayPal from overseas bidders, but please contact me to ascertain the cost of shipping (with tracking number) before bidding.
