President Mandela 1/2 Oz 24 Carat Gold Coin.

Fractional gold coins (1/2 Oz,1/4 Oz,1/10 Oz) with Mandela's profile are notoriously hard to find.

This 1/2 Oz was commissioned in Liberia (Liberia's coat of arms are featured on the coin)

Minted in the UK by the Pobjoy Mint.

Very few entered the country and after a call by Nelson Mandela to reduce the use of his image on commercial products the supply of these beauties dried up. Now they are only available on the secondary market.

Original Box and certificate of aunthenticity. Any marks are on the capsule and not coin.
