UNUSUAL CONTEMPORARY DESIGN STERLING SILVER TANZANITE MULTI-STRAND CROSSOVER RING. 925 

This pretty piece is created in sterling silver - the creative design features a simple shank that forks into 3 low down on each shoulder - the first strand of each side, cross over the midline of the ring head, holding 3 x oval faceted tanzanite claw set in sterling silver, with openwork between the gemstones. The 2 other strands on each sides end in a staggered angle, past the mid-line, each strand holding a single oval faceted tanzanite, claw set with open work between the strands. The use of the seven 5mm long x 3mm wide tanzanites is unusual, in that you don't often get a different selection of 'hue' set into one ring as a design feature. Measuring 19mm long x 20mm across, the piece weighs a solid 3.8 grams and bears the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. Really pretty, like soft purple raindrops caught on silver strands.
