PRETTY NATURAL PEARL AND MARCASITE STERLING SILVER RING FROM JAPAN

Brought back from Japan as part of a collection we found while visiting local jeweller's in that part of the world! This ring is rather pretty, designed to be quite flat in presentation so that it fits snugly on the finger. The ring head is set with natural round pearls and earth-mined marcasite. At 4,4 grams it is a good weight but the openwork detailing makes the ring easy and comfortable to wear. Pretty and elegant with natural foliage appeal. The metal is sterling silver with a slight darkish patina that contrasts with the white pearl. The ring head measures 20 x 18 mm (2 x 1,8 cm). It is quite a large ring size, 9 (R/half in British and SA sizing).
