This fabulous Victorian silver sweetheart or mourning brooch from the 1880/90s, with wonderful 9ct rose and yellow gold detail, is in excellent condition. It is oval in shape and has a raised panel in the middle, which is decorated with a floral, engraved motif of a gold rose and petals in relief. The back is open and has its original insert or frame to hold a photo or piece of glass and the pin works well. It measures 4cm x 3.3cm and weighs 10.7g.
