DAINTY AMETHYST AND 9CT YELLOW GOLD EARRINGS

I bought this pretty set of earrings from a London vintage dealer. Each earring is designed as a flower with the petals formed by 5 purple marquise-cut amethysts, interspersed by 5 pink round-cut amethysts, with a central amethyst forming the focal point. They are an interesting combination of two hues of amethyst and being beautifully cut, they really shine and sparkle adding dimension to the flowers. The yellow gold is 9ct, hallmarked 9K and stamped with a mark indicating Africa-mined gemstones. Feminine and dainty at 11mm in diameter, the claw-set gemstones total 0,72 carats and have been jeweller tested and authenticated.

Measurements: 11mm in diameter without the bale; 27mm including the bale.   Weight: 2,30 grams (together)
