PRICELESS ANTIQUITY !! Circa 1822 Pewter English Beer Tankard with Glass Bottom

VERY RARE ANTIQUE ITEM -  Pewter Beer Tankard with Glass Bottom      circa 1820's

This Beer Tankard is Rare not ONLY because of its advanced age (almost 200yrs old) but also for the Following reasons::

1- It has a PERFECTLY intact GLASS Bottom  (I suppose while drinking your ale you could look through the bottom of the Tankard to see WHO was maybe approaching lol)

2- It has the Family CREST of the CROSSE Family engraved on the side with their Heraldic Motto - "SUB CRUCE SALUS" - Salvation Under The Cross

3- Engraved on one side near the rim next to the Handle is ----  G IV IMPERIAL , 1 QUART, and a coat of arms.       This is Rare in that it commemorates the REIGN of KING GEORGE IV which was FROM 1820 until 1830

The Tankard has age related wear but is otherwise in PERFECT condition for its age. NO dents, damages or rust and the GLASS bottom is intact
