Legs can be positioned only in a resting position (90) and outstretched (180). The legs hinge out by means of spring-loaded 13mm diameter steel buttons w/ serrated circumference for improved grip. Once pulled back, the legs can be hinged down or back into a resting position. There are holed-out catches, allowing for a positive click into position.

The center of the chassis, with the legs hinged down, is 190mm. With both legs extended, this center point is elevated about 230mm off the surface.

The extender locking sleeves are aluminum, diamond checkered. Once twisted, the spring-loaded leg extensions jut out. These sleeves can be fastened by rotating them clockwise respectively.

Thew ferrules are inverse conical w/ concentric line texturing running down to the tips, for improved traction on uneven surfaces.

The weaver screw that affixes the bipod to the railing is steel and tool-free mounting is possible, thanks to the serrated circumference of the knob. Moreover, the face side of this screw has a slot for a flat-head screwdriver, w/ a straight-through cut (thus the slot varies in depth - shallow on the sides and deeper nearer to the center).

Please also note that this item is not precision-engineered, therefore, some play on the legs can be expected.
