The pictured brass tin was suggested by Princess Mary and paid for by contributions made by the public, one was given to each force member in the kings military service at Christmas 1914 (97 Years Ago). The tins were filled with tobacco,cigarettes and a pipe for the smokers and sweets, spices and writing gear for the non smokers
