MR-58 LED macro ring flash has 58 pcs high brightness LED as lighting source. A high-efficiency circuit design keeps the stability of the lighting outputs. The controller can be installed on most of the DSLR camera models. With adapter ring, it is applicable to macro lens of many diameter. It has flash mode and light mode, 7 levels brightness adjustment, max flash sync speed is 1/250s*.
The left / right flash head can be turned on respectively to get special lighting effects. When full turn on flash there is no shadow in macro-photography shooting. So it is applicable to take photos of still life, flowers and insects at close range as well as photography of special field, such as: dentistry use. It can also use the light mode to take videos at close range. The sync speed with some cameras or flashes maybe lower.
This macro ring flash is specially designed for macro lens, non-macro lens may be rotated when focusing, so it suggests using manual focusing (MF) when non-macro lens is used.
Half pressing the shutter button of the camera (camera metering on). The LED lamp will keep on in low power, it assists focusing in low light. A few seconds (camera metering off) off. (Flash mode only)
Three LED lamps can lighting only the left side only, right side only or full side. It is very convenient for the users to use.
Light Mode: The flash head will continuous output by the current mode of left / right setting, it suitable for taking photo or video recording.
Flash Mode: The flash head will fire by the current left / right setting when testing or using, it suitable for taking photo at close range.
There are two hot-shoe recesses on the macro ring flash and the controller. The users can mount them not only on cameras or macro lens, but also other devices.
