The first thing you notice about Project Gotham is the graphics. The cars you drive appear new and shiny (although after a few laps they tend to get a bit dented) and look great nipping around the incredibly realistic courses. Also you can customise your number plate, driver and even the soundtrack if the tunes in the game don't please your ear.

The tracks are all supposed to be accurately taken from the real streets of London, New York, San Francisco and Tokyo and the landmarks you can see as you drive around are excellent. Whether it's driving over the Thames with Big Ben ahead of you or zooming through Time Square there's bound to be somewhere you recognise.

To get through the game you need to drive stylishly as well as going fast. The cooler you are behind the wheel, the more Kudos you get to reflect your talent. Bump into barriers and you lose them, but perform cool slides or even get the car onto two wheels and you'll have a new car to punish before you know it. This is actually a pretty neat way of advancing through the game, providing a different challenge rather than just getting ahead of everyone else.

In the end Project Gotham is a stylish, fun game to play. There's no better driving game on the Xbox and you won't want to leave it alone for a long time.
