The projects in this book are aimed at making outdoor living more enjoyable around your home. Yard furniture, a gazebo, children's playthings, fences, wooden decks, green houses and a storage shed are only a sampling of the innovative projects waiting for the do-it-yourself person. Most of them are well within the woodworking capabilities of the average person. Some, however, are for the advanced craft worker. But remember, local building permits are required for many outdoor improvements. Most of the plans for the furniture pieces first appeared in "flying chips" a former Rockwell  publication. Before attempting to build any of the projects in the book, be certain to review and understand each step of construction and to verify all of the dimensions.
