BESKRYWING EN TOESTAND
BESKRYWINGIn hierdie lot word 'n stel van 23 propagandaseels van Smuts se Verenigde Party saam verkoop. Hierdie seels is vanaf die begin van die Tweede Wereldoorlog tot 1957 uitgegee. Hulle was bedoel vir koeverte (om saam met posseels op koeverte gesit te word en sodoende publisiteit vir die Verenigde Party te maak). Die eerste 3 (gekleurde) seels is uitgegee tydens die tweede wereldoorlog toe die Verenigde party aan bewind was en die 20 swart en wit seels is uitgegee tussen 1948 en 1957 nadat die Nasionale Party aan bewind gekom het en die Verenigde Party in die opposisie was (Smuts is in 1950 oorlede). Die 20 swart en wit seels is die volledige stel wat uitgegee is en hulle beeld die voordele verbonde aan Verenigde Party bewind uit.
TOESTANDAl 23 seels is in ongemonteerde munt toestand met die gom agterop in uitstekende toestand.
NOTAS
Aangesien hiedie seels uitgegee is om op koeverte geplak te word word hulle selde in munt toestand te vind. Hulle is baie skaars en dit is uiters ongewoon om 'n volledige stel van 23 soos hierdie een in munt toestand te vind.
