On offer is a fully functional, up-and-running property website. This site is open to all members of the public (both estate agents and private persons), free of charge, wishing to advertise properties for sale or to let. It is the only site in SA at the moment that allows users to upload videos for free (via Youtube).
The site will make income by selling advertising space, either directly, or using Google Ads etc. In order to achieve this, web traffic to the site will have to be improved.
Please note, this is a straightforward asset sale, there are no financial statements etc. Although the site is running, there is very little traffic to the site, as I have just not had the time to work on it. You will have to do some work in getting traffic to the site.
Included in the sale is the site, all intellectual property associated with it and; also Facebook and Twitter pages, although there are very few likes/followers at the moment.
I started this site when I was working as an estate agent, with the view to developing a second income/business. However, I have just lost interest in the real estate industry, and am pursuing other business interests.
Price is fully negotiable, all reasonable offers considered. Sale will be facilitated by an attorney to ensure all due process is followed. I will also arrange training for the new owner, with the developer, free of charge. The site is very easy to use, it will just take a couple hours to learn it. If there are glitches in the functioning at time of sale, I will see to it that these are fixed by the developers.
It is advisable to have some knowledge/experience of the real estate industry. If not, I am also willing to provide basic training in real estate to get you started, and give you some insight into the industry - I am an NQF level 5 trained estate agent (though not currently working in the industry).
