This is a great plant, it is an erect spreading shrub, 1 - 2 meters tall, and up to 3 meter in diameter. The flowers can vary in colour, from cream to pink to deep red, tipped with black or white beard. It can grow in many types of soil, but favours richer soil. Usually flowers in winter, and the flowers work very well as cut flowers. This plant especially grows well in coastal regions.
