Advice: Try for the net not to hang in the water. It collects algae and debris and give the pond a ‘sad’ look. However, propping it with poles is also a short-term solution as the net taires over time due to wind action.

Your best solution for bigger ponds is to stretch taunt a strand of steel wire (like farmers use) over the edges of the pond and simply drape the net over the pond and wire while holding it stretched with hooks or stones. The net will stay suspended on the wires and will be free to move with the wind.
