Prune Plum 'D`Agen - Prunus Domestica D`Agen - 3 Seeds

D'Agen is regarded as one of the best plums for making prunes because with high sugar and solids content it cures readily to form a sweet, long lasting prune.
It is also an excellent dessert plum.
Its origins are said to date from the return of the Benedictine monks from the the Crusades who brought back from Turkey what was called the Date Plum. 
Prunes are the dehydrated fruits of some of this cultivar which are prepared by dehydrating plums for 18 h at 90 °C.
