Putty Squad is a game in which a player is controlling a formless blue blob whose task is to rescue putties in prison. The player can stretch his or her own putty in all sorts of ways. Stretching sideways will cover the ground a lot faster, squashing flat allows the putty to pick up items and absorb them, stretching upwards allows the putty to climb, it can inflate to allow it to float upwards or the putty can morph into a fist to battle in an attack. The putty collects stars to increase the power of the attack. First, it increases the power of the punch, but further along in the game, it allows him to throw bombs, electrocute the enemy, and to blow darts. The star power goes down each time the putty gets hit by the enemy.
