If you have never played a Lego game before, this is definitely the best place to start. The game play is simple enough to pick up and go but there is so much content that it will take quite a long time to actually get everything. For gamers on a budget, like myself, this game and the others in the Lego franchise are fantastic because they are fun and have HUGE replay value. If you have young kids it is also great because they can play with you or by themselves and you won't have to worry about any exposing them to any unwanted content like sex or swearing
